Diesel cryogenic fluid improver XY-1

Inhibitor in Quench Oil Tower XY-1

1. Introduction

The inhibitor can effectively inhibit the polymerization of unsaturated aromatics such as styrene and indene, playing the role of anti-oxidation, inhibition of polymerization, cleaning, dispersion and passivation of metals. In addition, the inhibitor shows the good performance of thermal stability and water resistance, which can dissolve in aromatic and aliphatic hydrocarbon solvents without halogen and heavy metal elements, which will not result in any side effects to follow-up reaction. The inhibitor is specially used in ethylene quench oil tower in removing and inhibiting scales. Based on the working conditions, the choice of the inhibiting type or the removing type is available upon customers’ request.

3、Applications,Storage and Package

1) The general dosage is 5μg / g ~ 50μg / g, based on the quantity of gasoline refluxed .  The first injection of 40μg / g can last for several days, and then gradually drop to 30μg / g. The optimum injection dosage is up to observation of the results. The injection point shall be located based on the effect of inhibiting and removing of scales in the system. Normally, the upstream of feeding pump of reflux is selected as injection point to guarantee the full mixing of the additive and the medium. It is suggested to feed the additive by a piston metering pump into the system evenly and gradually. Or depending on the request, to dilute the additive to a certain concentration is the other choice for application.

2) Storage: This additive is of non-toxic, alkaline and flammable. Prevent it from being exposed to the sun, rain and impact. Store it in a dry, cool and ventilated warehouse, away from heat and fire source.

3) Package: Steel drum with plastic lining or plastic drum, 170 ± 0.5 kilograms/drum net.
